The World's Lowest,
Sleekest System!
The only projectionless split-ring scope mount in
the world.
Cut
from the solid. Not a flat-strap detach-and-duck perversion of Conetrol's
splendid concept, but the genuine original machine-cut-round
rendition of a pristine, one-of-a-kind product. Some mount makers came to
so idolize the Conetrol design after it appeared on the market in 1964 that
they solicited agreements with us early on to enable them to employ coveted
features of the Conetrol patent in abating shortcomings of their own
product line.
They then arbitrarily violated those agreements.
Now the flat-strap copy-cats come on claiming their particular
imitation "cannot inflict torque upon a scope tube or receiver" with an audacity
that is simply wondrous. Here's truth: they inflict torque on the scope tube (and receiver) with even
the most minor adjustment of either ring, and the torque is compounded as the amount of
windage adjustment is increased. Torque in the extreme occurs when the scope
is adjusted far left or far right.
....."Cannot inflict torque upon a scope tube or receiver"? Think hard,
then ask your brain.
Conetrol is the way it was meant to be.
Strongest windage-mount design because muscle is packed
into both rings. Other adjustable mounts limit strength to one ring.
Further, they concentrate their strength in the front ring when the back
is where things are most apt to come apart under the violent recoil of magnum
calibers.
Dual ring movement allows scope to be centered over gun
receiver after adjustment, not possible with other designs.
Conetrol fits more high-power firearms than any other
mount maker. Mounting is available even for guns long obsolete.
Three basic styles -- from matte to high gloss.
Bases angular-edged to streamlined. Fluted bases
available.
Economical out-of-the-bin bases for special
applications.

Special finishes.
